Follow two dreamers as they trek through a world of misconnections and struggle to separate their virtual identities from who they really are.

Meet the Cast

Rob Brinkmann Rob is a New York based actor and graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. His New York theater credits include The Witch of St. Elmora Street (Dixon Place), Baby Hubris (NYC Fringe Festival), Hot Summer in the City (Nylon Fusion), Acoustica Electronica (Drom), and Cygnus ISA Summer Constellation (Paradise Factory). Boston theater credits include ToUch Performance Art’s Searching for Signal and Sexyback: or what you will. Rob has also worked in film, appearing in Stillman's Portrait, The Devil in Jersey, and Kill It.

Taylor McMahon Taylor has trained in a myriad of dance styles her entire life. In 2011, Taylor toured with West Coast Dance Explosion to 15 US cities before moving to Boston in 2012 to attend Emerson College's Communication Disorders program. In 2013 & 2014, Taylor performed in James Blaszko's Cyclops: A Satyr Play at OBERON. She continues to interact with theatre community in a Boston-based dance/theatre company called Paradise Lost, as well as custom events with ToUch. You may recognize Taylor as one of the Clones from ToUch Performance Art’s AcousticaElectronica. 

Taylor McMahon

Gabriel Nesser  Gabriel is a 2015 Emerson College grad and Boston performer. He currently performs with the A.R.T.’s The Donkey Show as well as with the dance company Paradise Lost, where he serves as a board member and choreographer. Recently, he has worked with Ryan Landry’s theater company, The Gold Dust Orphans, as well as with Newton South High School. He has taken joy in appearing throughout Boston’s vibrant burlesque scene in productions such as The Slutcracker and The Wrathskellar. He’s so grateful to work with such a talented cast and crew on this amazing production and is thankful to everyone involved!

Misha Shields Misha is a dance & aerial circus choreographer based in the NYC and Boston areas.  She has choreographed Off-Broadway productions, Who's Your Baghdaddy? Or How I Started The Iraq War, and, The Orion Experience.  Some other choreography credits include:  Merrily We Roll Along (APAC, NY), The Rocky Horror Show (Yale/Dramat), the Off-Broadway concerts Cabaret and Sunday In The Park With George, (The Boston Conservatory), and more. Currently, Misha is the Movement Coordinator/Choreographer for the production, Milk Like Sugar, at The Huntington Theatre. Love to Ben.

Alex Smith Alex is extremely excited to be working with Touch Performance Art on Searching for Signal. Previous credits include Lonely Planet (Emerson College), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Emerson College), Pride & Prejudice, and How to Succeed… He is currently a member of the Core Collective of Paradise Lost and is pursuing a BFA in Theatre & Performance with a minor in Dance. He would like to thank Touch for making this such a wonderfully engaging process and his family and friends for their support.

Melissa Geerlof
Melissa is currently a sophomore BFA Musical Theatre major at The Boston Conservatory where she was last seen in What About Cal? (Jamie) and Columbinus (Rebel). Other favorite credits include Hairspray (Tracy), The Importance…Earnest (Gwendolen), and HSM2 (Sharpay). Thank you to friends and family for their endless love and support and a big thanks to the cast and creative team. She is honored to have helped devise a piece so pertinent to the trials and tribulations of my tech-savvy generation.
